I finally have the surnames of my original characters for the werewolfbigbang and the naming process is taking a lot longer than I’d anticipated. I’m trying to avoid the cliché of giving them fancy/original names, but I don’t want them boring so it’s a conundrum at the moment.

Lovel is the chosen surname because it’s a variant of the last name Lowell which in derived from the French nickname for wolf. I wanted it to mean wolf, but not so much at it could put the family’s ancestors in jeopardy or perhaps the family was originally Lowell but changed it to Lovel to avoid suspicion… I think too much.
